Can you trust third-party repair shops in Canada?

The first question you probably have is “Can I trust third-party cell phone repair shops in Canada?”

NO!!!!
You can’t trust most third-party repair shops. The majority of them do not know what they’re doing when it comes to iPhone repair in Toronto or Mississauga, Ontario.
  • They have not plenty of experience
  • Many are not certified by Apple
  • They have not the right equipment
They depend entirely on satisfied customers. Word of mouth travels fast in Toronto, so charlatans don’t last long.
Will third-party repairs void your iPhone’s warranty?
Another question a lot of people have is whether or not third-party repairs will void their warranty. There’s good news and bad news.
First, the good news.
Since 2017, Apple has allowed in-warranty third-party repairs on broken screens. So if you’ve cracked that beautiful iPhone display, you can get it repaired at a third-party shop and your phone will still be covered by any remaining warranty. That includes AppleCare+.
But there’s a catch, and that’s the bad news.
Actually, there are a couple of catches. For starters, if the repair shop causes any damage, then your warranty is void. And don’t forget that this policy covers the screen only. Any other components need to be fixed by Apple or your warranty is void.
Well, if you talk about cell phone parts in Canada specially iPhone PartsSamsung Mobile Phone PartsLG Phone PartsHTC Mobile Parts (LCD Screen, Degitizer, Touch Display, Home Button, Back and rear camera, Headphone Jack, etc.) then you’re at right place. Cell Phone Parts Canada Provide you variety of mobile phone parts with warranty and at best prices. How to Repair Apple iPhone 6 Home Button | iPhone Parts

There are number of ways to repair Apple iPhone 6 Home Button. Some of them are easy and some are very complicated. Cell Phone Parts Canada Team going to provide you easy steps that, How to Repair iPhone 6 Home Button. The steps are as follows.

Step: 1
First of all you have to simply press the iPhone power button until you see Slide to Power off. Make it sure that your iPhone 6 is turned off, then proceed to the next step.

Step: 2
There are two security screws on the sides of charging port at bottom that secure the screen to the frame. Use your 5-point security screwdriver to remove screws, then proceed to the next step.

Step: 3
Place your suction cup slightly above the Home button assembly and secure it to the screen, then proceed to the next step.

Step: 4
Holding the iPhone in place with one hand, gently pull upwards on the suction cup until you free the bottom of the screen but do NOT pull up all the way at this point as a cable running to the Touch ID sensor is still connected. You only want to separate the screen about an inch at this point.

Step: 5
Now that you have a clear view of the cables, use the pointed edge of your spudger tool in order to carefully remove the metal shield covering the Touch ID cable.

Step: 6
Make sure you don’t lose the metal guard that covers the Touch ID connector. Use the pointed edge of your spudger tool in order to disconnect Touch ID. Now you can swing the display up more to see where it is connected to the board. Remove the four screws holding down the shield that covers the display cables. Use your screwdriver.

Step: 7
Once all four screws are removed, carefully remove the shield. Now use a spudger tool in order to remove the three cables. You’ll need to remove the two off to the far right in order to reveal the third and final cable, which sits below them.

Step: 8
The display assembly should now be free from the body of the phone. Go ahead and set everything but the display assembly aside now. Now replace the Home button flex

Step: 9
Now, remove the top right screw holding the iPhone Touch ID cable in place using your screwdriver. There is a tiny metal guard underneath, make sure you hold it in place so the cable doesn’t spin or tear underneath it. Also make note of the orientation of this guard as you’ll need to replace it again during re-assembly.

Step: 10
Once you have gotten the top screw out and set that and the guard aside, you can fold back part of the Touch ID cable in order to remove the two screws holding in the shield that sits above the iPhone Home button. Again, use screwdriver.

Step: 11
Now remove the metal shield and set it aside. Lastly, very safely use spudger tool to start prying up the Home button assembly which is held in with a bit of adhesive. Be careful doing this as it’s easy to tear cables that run to the Touch ID sensor.

Step: 12
Once you’ve broken all the adhesive under the Home button gasket, the entire Home button assembly should lift out of the screen assembly, Touch ID still attached. If you’re having issues removing the gasket, try heating up the button slightly to break the adhesive.

Step: 13
Now simply swap the new Home button flex in the old one’s place. If you ordered the parts I’ve recommended above from CellPhoneParts Canada, the home button is already in place. If you ordered from elsewhere and got only a flex, you’ll have to transfer the Home button and gasket over to the new flex. Just be careful not to tear the gasket while doing this. Now in the next step, process of replace the display assembly is showing

Step: 14
Reconnect the three cables, starting with the cable to the far left, which sits underneath the other two and Replace the shield using the four screws.

Step: 15
Re-connect the Touch ID cable to the logic board. The easiest tool to help you do this is the pointed end of the spudger tool and Replace the Touch ID shield that sits over the cable.

Step: 16
Carefully line up the top of the display into the top of the frame. Snap down the display until it clicks into place. Use 5-point security screwdriver to replace the two dock connector screws that sit on either side of the dock.
Now, Test your iPhone 6 Home button. Now, power it back on. After it boots up, perform to test the new Home button: Hold down the Home button and ensure Siri activates properly and double tap and triple tap to ensure those actions work.

How to Repair your broken iPhone LCD Display at home

We’ve all experienced broken mobile phone lcd screens. Sometimes our phone slipped and screen get cracks. It’s heartbreaking, tragic and it can happen to anyone. And if you don’t have Apple Care+ or another warranty to fix the damage, you may end up with some bandaged fingers or the need to buy a new cell phone. But you can also take your iPhone to Cell Phone Parts Canada Repair Shop for fix it. If you have patience and you can fix it by yourself at your home with tools. Here is complete guide in this blog.

Now, before you jump into this repair project, remember that it’s a challenging, do-it-yourself fix, which doesn’t guarantee results. It’s easy to rip a ribbon cable or otherwise damage the internal components of your iPhone. You can also cut your finger on a cracked display or otherwise injure yourself while trying to fix your iPhone. So be careful about it.
If you’re feeling hesitant, Cell Phone Parts Canada Repair Shop may be the way to go. However, if you’re confident in your abilities working with small parts and complicated electronics, there’s no reason you shouldn’t tackle this project yourself. Read the instructions below carefully, and then follow our instructions for step-by-step help. Each model of the iPhone, as well as each carrier’s version of each iPhone model, contains slight differences. This guide is for the Apple iPhone 6 and you can take a glimpse about other models repair.
First, you’ll need to get a iPhone replacement screen and LCD panel. Since the iPhone’s front panel and LCD are fused together, you’ll probably want to buy both as a single unit, but it is possible to separate them.
Here are the Steps For Repair your cracked iPhone LCD Display:
  • Backup and power down.
Remember that this is a risky fix, so be sure to back up your data using iTunes or the cloud, and then power down your device.
  • Remove the pentalobe screws. At the bottom of your device, on either side of the Lighting connector port, are two pentalobe screws. Remove them using the pentalobe screwdriver. You may also want to consider replacing them with Phillips head screws when reassembling, as the pentalobe screwdriver can strip the screws, rendering them difficult to work with.
  • Use a suction cup to pry up the screen. Using a slightly wetted suction cup, pry up the unscrewed screen. Make sure that the cup is firmly attached to the front panel and don’t be afraid to use a little force; this display is more firmly rooted to the back panel than most devices. You will want to use your plastic opening tool once you’ve separated the display enough from the device.
  • Lift up the screen. Start from the bottom and loosen the display, working your way up the right and left sides. Do not fully detach, as there are still several ribbon cables attached to the display that you will need later.
  • Remove the front panel assembly cable bracket. Once you’ve removed the front display enough to lift it about 90 degrees off the rear case, you can remove the front panel assembly cable bracket from the logic board, near the top of the device. Look to the right of the battery, where there is a small metal panel held down by the three Phillips screws. Remove them.
  • Disconnect the ribbon cables. Once you remove the metal panel, use your plastic opening tool to disconnect the three front panel assembly cables for the front-facing camera, digitizer cable and the LCD cable. You can now fully remove the front panel display from the rear case.
  • Remove the LCD display, now you’re left with the front screen and LCD display. If your LCD display is also damaged, you can start reassembling your phone with the new LCD and front display. If you’re planning on using your old LCD display and just replacing the cracked screen, you’ll want to remove the six screws holding the LCD display to the front panel. There are two on both the left and right sides of the LCD, and two on the back panel. Remove the iPhone LCD panel.
  • Remove the rear microphone assembly. Next, remove the rear microphone assembly. This will not require the removal of any more screws; you should be able to just lift them out.
  • Remove the earpiece speaker. Now you need to remove the components that you’ll need from your existing front panel display, starting with the earpiece speaker. It’s attached by two Phillips screws and should be fairly obvious, since you already know its location. Remove the bracket and then the speaker from your phone.
  • Remove the front-facing camera. Next, use your plastic opening tool to remove the front facing camera cable out of the display. You may have to do a bit of prying. Once the cable is out, you can remove the camera itself.
  • Remove the iPhone home button. Finally, you’ll want to remove your iPhone home button, starting with the bracket that holds it in place. You’ll need to remove two Phillips screws to access it. Once you remove the bracket, you’ll use your plastic opening tool to pry the edge of the home button ribbon cable from the display assembly. This is important: Start under the contact point on the right and work to the left. Going left to right could rip your ribbon cable. Once you’ve finished removing the ribbon cable, you can pry up the home button from the display assembly to remove it.
  • Reassemble with the new display. You’ve now fully detached your cracked front display from the components that you’ll need in order to put your phone back together. But you’re only halfway done. Now you get to start the reassembly. Working in reverse order, reattach the home button, front facing camera, earpiece speaker and other components to the new display, then reattach the front panel to the rest of the device.
Congratulations, you now have a good-as-new device that you fixed yourself. Hurrah!!!  Hope So this article become useful to repair your cracked iPhone LCD display.
